Our 12 year old dog needed acl surgery. We went to Lincoln ave hospital for a second opinion. The vet tech was wonderful with my dog who is very skiddish. Dr E was amazing and gave us all the options and info to make the best decision for our dog. Their price for the acl surgery was half the price we were quoted by another vet. Wonderful dedicated people and excellent experience.

I took my dog Koffee for orthopedic Surgery FHO . He was diagnosed very professionally & the Surgery was performed at the highest standard of care . I was pleased to see the positive results within two months only . The price was phenomenal almost half the price I would have paid at a referral hospital . After taking my male tabby to Lincoln Avenue Cat and Dog (he was having issues with one of his back legs), Dr. El-Akbawy was so informative and helpful, he also discovered that my cat has elevated cardiac enzymes (indicating heart issues).I was surprised to find that Dr. El-Akbawy performs multiple types of surgeries at half the price of an Emergency care office. If your pet needs surgery, I would highly recommend getting a second opinion from this practice.Dr. El-Akbawy seems to really care about his patients and he takes the time to find low cost solutions for patients with various issues. Overall, my experience was 10/10 and I would recommend this practice and I will be returning in the future.

My dog, Tillie, had surgery for a torn cruciate ligament. Dr. Elakbawy performed the surgery, he is the very best.The facilities at the hospital are high tech plus immaculate.I received a full post surgery report plus comprehensive after care instructions and the X-rays showing her fixed leg. I was very impressed.She is having regular check up’s with the doctor. Which is very reassuring.The front desk staff are lovely and very helpful. Dr.Elakbawy is a superb surgeon plus he is caring and explains everything step by step.100% recommendation.Thank you.

I cannot say enough about this place. Dr. El-Akbawy is hands down one of the best vets I've come across. My cat was unwell and I had checked out several places before being introduced to LAC&DH and all I got was slapped with what it could be without talking through it with me and estimates of 10k or more coming my way. Dr. El-Akbawy saw my distress and took his time to discuss different possibility, what kind of tests and scans we would need to run all while working with me on price since I didn't have insurance. Prices are very reasonable, and they were all very compassionate, caring, and honest from start to finish.

If you are looking for a veterinary office that has it all, I highly recommend Lincoln Ave Cat & Dog Hospital. My cat Oliver went in for a dental scaling and extraction. During his follow up appointment, Dr. Elakbawy noticed an irregularity and recommended a biopsy. Oliver was subsequently diagnosed with aggressive Squamous Cell Carcinoma and required a major surgery to remove the tumor, which was done as soon as a possible. Thankfully, Dr. Elakbawy is qualified to perform procedures which typically require specialist visits, prolonging time, which we did not have. Although the recovery for a major procedure was not fun, we are very impressed with the results. Oliver is improving every day, and his wounds are much better than we thought they would be. In addition, the staff at Lincoln Ave has been very attentive and caring. Communication with the office is excellent—Dr. E., and the office staff followed up to check on Oliver multiple times; it is obvious they care about their patients. Thank you Dr. Elakbawy for giving Oliver a second chance at life, and to all the staff at Lincoln Ave Cat & Dog for being so diligent and caring during a difficult time.

The amazing thing about this place is how fast they work. My dog started limping so we looked for an orthopedic near by instead or rushing to emergency. They offered same day appointment and next day he was in surgery for his ACL.They answer all your concerns and questions. The staff os very friendly, and a lot of them are bilingual. 👍🏽And the price is very competitive!I would recommend it if you need a surgeon for your pet.
